Little Milestones Programs
At Milestones In Music, we believe that music education should be a fun and joyful experience for children. The importance of music in the overall development of the young child has been proven in numerous studies. We are proud to provide one of the most advanced, age-appropriate children's music curriculum. Little Milestones curricula offers weekly high-quality music and movement classes for newborns and preschoolers in our Center Square/Lansdale, or Hatfield studios, or in your child's preschool/daycare. When your child participates in one of our unique classes, you will see development in language skills, literacy, listening skills, problem solving, social skills and self-esteem.They will outgrow new shoes and new toys, but they will never outgrow the learning skills they get from a Milestones In Music class.
History of Milestones In Music
I taught music for 17 years, then detoured into the "corporate" world while our children attended college. In 2004, the opportunity arose to create Milestones In Music. Everyone representing Milestones In Music have made a commitment to provide the highest quality music education for your children, and pledge an investment of continuing education and professional development. Again, thank you for your support of Milestones In Music! -- Judy Jones, Owner/Educator February 2004 - Milestones In Music is launched with 18 children in one private daycare facility. By 2010, over 1,100 children each week will enjoy a weekly 'music class' with Milestones In Music. June 2005, 2007, 2008 - Milestones In Music received the Maestro Award for Excellence - named one of Kindermusik's top 5% programs worldwide. June 2006 - Milestones In Music received the Maestro Award for Excellence - one of Kindermusik's top 1% programs worldwide and awarded the "Largest Kindermusik Day Care Program Worldwide", holding that honor for the following two years. September 2007 - Little Milestones custom curricula is created to meet the growing demand for an affordable full-school daycare program. This program is now offered in all of our daycare classes and will debut in our Studios in September, 2010. May, 2009 - Milestones In Music named "Distinguished Star Award for Outstanding Music Program" by Bright Horizons WPCLC.
