Is there a Sibling Discount?
Yes! The first child will pay full tuition and materials fees. All additional children will receive 50% discount on tuition. Sibling Discount is not automatic during online registration process. Please register your first child, then send an email to jjones@milestonesinmusic.com with the details of the second child you would like to register plus the payment information. We will apply the discount and process your sibling registration for you.
Are there refunds for absences?
Refunds or credits are not issued for absences. Individuals are responsible for attending their class during the scheduled time period. Should an unexpected illness force you to miss a scheduled class, you are invited to attend another class of the s
ame curriculum within two weeks following the absence. Thank you for your cooperation.
Is there a refund if I drop the class?
Prorated refunds of tuition will be issued only in the event that a family is unexpectedly relocated from the area during the course of a semester and unable to continue attending. Refunds are not available for any Home Materials once they have been distributed.
Privacy Guidelines
Will we share your contact or family information with anyone for any reason? NO! Your information (including email address) is used expressly for the purpose of communicating class updates to you. Only Milestones In Music staff will have access to your contact information. At no time will your email address be visible to other parents during our weekly emails, and at no time will your email, phone or mailing address information be shared with any parties outside of Milestones In Music.
I'm pregnant and due during the semester.
We welcome the newest siblings of our Milestones families in all of our classes. We know that Mom needs recovery/transition time following the arrival of our newest Milestones Kid (as we lovingly call them). We will issue a maternity credit up to three weeks of tuition fees - beginning with the week of the birth plus two weeks after for a normal delivery, and four week's credit for a Caesarian delivery. Credit will be available for redemption the following semester.
I have an infant? Can I bring him/her to class with older sibling?
Our studio has been blessed with a number of new siblings in the past year. We welcome infants in carseats or strollers while their older sibling attends class. Please note - we expect parents to minimize distractions of an unhappy child and we will help watch over your other child while you tend to the child in need. We look forward to including the infants when they are old enough to join in. Infants older than twelve months who become an active participant in the class and are not enrolled in one of our Infant classes, will be charged prorated sibling tuition.
Grandparents are in town -- can they observe the class?
Absolutely! Grandparents are always welcome. They will be invited to participate (not merely observe). And yes, grandparents may bring cameras as long as the photography is not interruptive to the class.
Snow Days?
In the event of inclement weather, you will receive an email at least one hour prior to the class. We will extend our semester to accommodate the snow day, or will schedule an alternative make-up day that will be announced in advance. You may also call (610) 505-1449 whenever there is a question about class being held as scheduled. The safety of our families is our paramount concern. If you do not feel you can travel safely from your home to class, you should stay home and will be able to make-up your absence at another class of the same curriculum during two weeks following your absence.
